The first TGM 4 H2 locomotive is scheduled to be launched by the end of December 2024.
The current work is being carried out under a contract with the Estonian company HANKO TRANS OÜ. Under this contract, 12 TGM 4 shunting locomotives will be converted to hydrogen by the end of 2025. All locomotives are currently operating in the Free Port of Riga.
Coolergy will build a hydrogen production and liquefaction plant with a capacity of 2 tons per day in Narva, Estonia to equip the locomotives.
